I was looking at buying a 99 ZRT 800 with 2800 miles on it . I was all set to buy it then the dealer informs me that it is a 900 instead because the previous owner put 900 t cat cyclinders and pistons in it from his previous T cat .And still kept the stock 800 heads.

Would the 800 heads have to be machined *to accept the 900 cyclinders. How reliable would this sled be now with these MODS done to it. I dont want to be driving a time bomb any help would be appreciated thanks

If you want reliability tell the dealer to slap a set of 800 pistons back in and a new head if there were any head mods to the sled(which there very well could be). *If he wants to make a deal, make him work with you for the sale. *If he isn't willing to do that for you, I wouldn't bother dealing with him. Just my opinion... http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
