does anyone know how hard it is to change a crank seal on a 2001 mxz 800 ??

for those sleds i am sure you have to split the case.

Pto or mag side seal?

I know it has to be split for the pto side seal to be done proper. You can shave the lip on the new seal and press it in to cheat.
I am not shure of the mag side but i think it can be done without splitting it. I will have to check my manuals. Pm me if you want me to send you the info.
