OK, I got my first ride today on my ZRT (992). It was clutched for the old 800 in it. The sled seemed to run real good (I need to adjust the one carb a littel but no biggie), very fast, I was happy, but i think my clutching is a little off. In hard packed snow where I hooked up good, it bit real good and I think it was running around 88-8900. But when I got on ice it seemed to run around 9300 (maybee it alwasy ended up this high, I was enjoying it alot to pay real close attrention). It did not seem to pull quite as good this high. So what adjstments would be the first ones to make to my clutch, different weights or a different spring? Can I adjst my helix? I did move to the forth hole (third as an 800). Thanks for any help.

To adjust RPM go to the primary, pull your RPM down by adding more weight around 8500 tops.
Adjust your helix for how fast you want to go, more squeeze for trail or less for top end.

Do you mena I shuld clutch it for 8500 RPM topps? It pulled past there it seemed.
As far as the helix, do I use more angle or less angle for more squeeze? If I am going to be drag racing all weekend, do I just put in a super massive or slight angle? How does the angle affect the clutch response? Thanks

The lower the number means more squeeze.
For racing I would use a larger first number and soften your spring so it opens quickly, then a lower number so it produces more squeeze.
you want your secondary to open quickly then squeeze a little tighter as you climb in RPM.
