I recently got a good deal on an 1995 zr 580 efi. The clutch primary clutch was removed and replaced with one from a Cougar, not sure on the year 199?. I know the ramps and spring need to be changed. will the clutch body work? What weight ramps and what spring works the best on this stock machine/

Cougars were made up through 1998, they did not get the new clutches, they are the same as the ones on the 95 ZR, but the springs, weights, and helix are different due to the 550 engine. You only need to make sure that the clutching works well for you, if stumped go with the factory specs for the 1995 ZR 580. You should get a service manual for the details, or hopefully someone with a ZR580 will post.
