are these tunnel protecters the same as on the 2000 as where the stock ones are 2 piece so youn only have to buy one and replace the back half?? also are 144 down the middle that much better then 120 down the middle? trying to do this on a budget!

Yup you buy one and cut it in half and install the two of them.
