I have the same machine with a 1.5" lug track on it. *Using the stock drive shaft and cogs, that is the biggest you can fit. *I've heard of others using smaller cogs and being able to put in a larger lug, however, I have never tried it. *My track is a Camoplast Challenger Track. I paid about $375 for it. *I've ran it a couple seasons on snow and grass, no tears, rips, etc..

You need to let us in on "what" machine you got http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
And why is this post going backwards?

Why can a Summit run 1 3/4 in the same chassis with the same drivers?

can anyone tell me how deep of a lug track can be installed on my machine and any and any tips for the install, and any suggestions on track types.

Not sure, but I think a summit has a rolled chaincase?

Most 670x's that I am aware of get an aftermarket drop and roll. If someone knows more about this let us all know. From what I was aware of you can run an 1 3/4 in an HO.

I have a 1.5 on my H.O. and to me it looks like a 1.75 would barely fit and probably rub sometimes.
