i got a 94 storm i picked up last week did the lil stuff like clean the carbs and all that and it won't idle below 3500 without putting on the choke it is fine once you put the choke on and idles down where it should but it does run fine with the choke off everywhere else where should i start on this to sort things out. any help would be helpful :p

Does it maintain a normal idle after you choke it out? Or does it slowly raise after a few minutes?

Could be a leaking crank bearing seal,vacuum leak. Possibly a carb slide hanging up.
