This is up on the lake MTRSPRT (Cory) lives on. We were out on the lake doing GPS runs.
Best we could hit was 115-117, hopefully it was conditions and the fact that it was cloudy, and the gps was in our zipped up coat pockets!.
This is a video of me last week on the lake, Cory was filming. Sorry for the bad quality but I had my camera on lowest resolution to save space.
Also dont mind the weird camera noises at the begining, I have no clue why it does that.

Ya, clouds and zippers will scrub 5 to 8 mphs off your topend :D

Now was that 115 in 2000' feet?.....or were you running til you had to slow down?
I can't wait til I can get to a radar run, I know I'll have no problems hitting 120, and I'm 100% stock! I'll be sure to let you know.
Good luck guys

It was about 3000' or so.

conditions make a huge difference in your top speeds. even a skim of frsh snow on the lake will slow you down.

I went from 104mph on ####ty conditions, to 124mph on bare ice. Hows that for a change in speed? :)

Leezer, if you are 100% bone stock, you will not see the 120 mark. Sorry to burst your bubble. Speeds of 110 to 115 will be closer to reality. If you get a chance to run the Mach on the Radar, take a moment, and only a moment, to notice the RPM that you have achieved as you pass within range of the radar gun. If you pulled 8500 rpm, then you have pretty much overcome any resistance factors and are going flat out at top speed. Let us know how you make out. For reference, I ran 112 mph on the Bay of Quinte on hard pack, slightly drifted snow at 8400 rpm with a third of a tank of a fuel. My sled was a '99 MachZ and I weighed about 225 lbs dressed. Temperature was about -5C.

I agree, and would also like to add that they are very picky machines when it comes to conditions.
