Ok, im installing the Bombardier plastic bulkhead protectors on my 2001 Mach Z.

Requires you to drop track/suspension and rivet the protectors on the bulkhead.

I got the back bolts off, but the two damn bolts up by your feet I cant get both off.

I can loosen up one, but when i try to loosen the other side it just turns and will not loosen up.

I have tried a couple differant ways of trying to loosen these bolts, but im having a hell of a time with those 2 front bolts by the foot rests.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

By the way so far its been cake, I have taken the back suspension bolts out, taken off my chaincase, took off bottom gear, took off speedo housing , and am ready to fully drop the suspension/cogshaft but those damn two bolts up front by were your feet go are giving me hell!!!

Please help.

Thanks guys.

Ya gotta get the one that is loose tight enough to hold the shaft then loosen the tight one, if not then ya gotta crush the arm tube with a big pair of vise grips to hold it good luck if ya can get an impact on it the better :bash:

Hey Trip,

I got mine by making sure both sides were unscrewing (tighten the opposite side). Then you take one out and push or pull on the axle to bind the inner part so you can then get the other side out.

Good Luck,
