Sounds pretty good considering the mileage.

Thats not bad. The main thing is there the same. If it starts going below 125 or you start getting more than 3-4 pounds difference between the cylinders then that would probably be the time for a check up.

Lots of variables fall into place with compression checks that can effect the results. The quality of the gauge or how the test was done can make a huge difference in the outcome.

did you check it when new? here our mxz 700's(both 00 models) had 135 fresh from the crate I rebuilt the stock piped machine last year when it hit 125.

My 700 is showing only 105 psi in each cylinder dead on. I was using a cheap gauge from Canadian Tire. I was a little worried it might be rebuild time, but the sled runs great. Not sure if gauge is bad or what???

130 psi both cylinders, still like new. You mostly want to make sure that the cylinder compression doesn't get more than a 10% difference between each cylinder.

The Skidoo dealer i goto told me that the compression new is like 145 pounds?

My doo dealer said mine was strong at 125, it would be nice to know what the actual compression new is.

on the machines I have here they were 135 lbs. from the crate. altitude and several other factors will determine actual readings. personally I have never seen a 700 stock with 145 lbs.

Even if using a "cheap guage" make sure to hold the throttle WFO while tugging the cord and do the same amount of pulls on each cylinder. Ussually 4/5 tuggs...just be the same on each cylinder.

yeah 130 sounds about rite, my 583 with 400kms on the motor has 150psi on both sides. :)

Did my 02 600 Legend today, two different gauges and got 145 each cylinder. Sounds like your 700 is still pretty healthy.
