I have a 2000 MXZ 700 with dpm. I am only getting about 100km per tank, from what I have heard it is supposed to be more like 160km. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Seems to run fine, does idle high sometimes (no rhyme or reason when or why). Starts on the 2nd or 3rd pull. I took it into the dealer for a pre-season tune up and have had the carbs cleaned they said everything checked out and my compression was even at 125 a side.

I have the same sled. I don't know about km but mileage wise I get roughly 110-125miles on a tank depending how hard I ride. Mine runs great and gets tuned up before the season. I may still have some left in the bottom of the tank to push it a little further.
