different story down here their over stock on there rx1...
dealers are still trying to unload brand new 03/04.
don't get me wrong i'm a yamaha fan all the way.
But face it if your used to riding a light sled yamah doesn't offer much of choice & thats why so many are going to ac,doo & poo.

Actually the way I heard it was the '05's are selling well, it's the 03's and 04's they have some trouble moving.

There are brand new 03's left? I do a lot of travelling, and stop at quite a few Yamaha dealers, and have not seen one, anywhere (I have seen some 04's though)

There's plenty of '03 RX-1's here.

I wonder if the insurance factor in Canada is a reason RX-1's are sitting? My dealer in New York can't get Yamaha's (any) out of the boxes fast enough. They don't have any to put on the floor-they are selling too fast. He isn't having the same trouble with the other line he carries.

Goldberg-I feel the same way-no snow and now I have a snowmobile camp (closed on it last week) and no snow. BTW, it snowed overnight and now it's pouring rain out.

If you search that site you'll find that it's a Vector pumping 165 HP. It is currently being raced. I haven't found any results yet on how well it's doing.

It a SnoX sled from Sweden, that a team built themselves a Yamaha Vector with trick parts to race SnoX in Europe

AKA Yamaha had NOTHING to do with it

Sorry to burst your bubble :(

No photo shop, it's for real. But if you don't believe me wait till Feb. 7th when Yamaha unveils the 06 lineup.

Somehow I think Mighty has an inside line... Aren't we all skeptic's though???

If anyone is looking for a new '03 RX-1 then Ontario seems to be a good place. Why, I don't know, perhaps insurance. All you have to do is call T.D., they don't rate by cc's, and have no sleds on a hit list. There rates are based on the value of the sled. Had no problems with the 20 year old son getting full coverage on his 04 Rev 800X. But again, a clean drivers abstract is the key.

Never said it didnt exist in a snow cross sled, just that different parts of the picture dont match each other with DPI, fuzzy, etc.... usually a sign of a cropped image.

The next time you get into South western Ontario stop in at every Yamaha dealer and you'll find enough stock to fill a warehouse from Windsor all the way to Timmins, Ontario. I love Yamaha just as much as you guys but reality is reality.
