Never been to Mancelona. *I used to ride with 20 guys when I had my old unreliable sled now since I have had newer ones we have fallen out of contact except for one guy and we never get out too far. *I miss the long rides. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

That would be helpful. Our cottage is on Synder lake by the old Cat dealer for reference. my uncle will be there and he just got back into sledding two years ago. I'm trying to get him to get the net so they can fully usse there newexpensive compter to check out this site. We'll be leaving A2 around 4 or so going up 127 to avoid the Brighton backup on 75. My fax's go directly into my email and I can then print them out, my fax # is 775-269-8122, and you have my email also.

This pic should look familiar to ya. *I don't have property up there, but my grandpa lives on Tee Lake. *I used to live in Gaylord, and still try to get up as often as possible to sled.

Does anyone know where Turtle Lake Club is? *I am sure someone knows, but anyway, my uncle's cabin is right across the road from it. *I go to talley's and always get their good talleyburger. *I remember my first visit there last season, the snow plow built a 10 foot mound and I just had to jump it *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
I get on the trail from the avery lake trail and then do the loop on muskrat lake to get to lewiston, it may be an extra 10 miles doing the loop, but the riding we had last year (just on one day) was superb. *I'm not sure when I'll be up there this season, but I know I will!

Z570, that gas station is just about a blockaway from the talley, isn't it? *I fueled up there once and some guy on a thundercat smacked another parked sled while I was paying the clerk.

That is Sunrise gas station. *The white building across the street is Lewiston Motorsports.

Wjhat a great 37 hours at the cottage. It was much needed and it was great to finally meet a face from thisa site. How did the work end up Rob. I goty the crap pounded out of me on the PWC for 3 hours on sat and an hour this morning before leaving at noon. I may buy my own place as i've found some deals. it'll be nice having my uncles lake access any time.

Sled, after working out in that humidity all day it took it's toll. *I am still feeling like crap. *I couldn't get enough cold water to cool me off. *I never got the cabin fixed but rigged it to last a month or two until I get back up. *It was great to meet up with you, we'll have to do it again.

Rob,
* What did you get done to it after i left? I'm going back up the weekend of the 16th I think. I'm so darn sore from the pwc, oh my! Then i got cracked in the head on sunday by it after my cousins b-friend and I were thrown off it. That smarted. He got hit in the nose and me in the head. We had always wondered how you could get hit by your own machine, now we know! http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif *I'd love to help you finish it. Just being upo there is enjoyment plus I love working. Something to think about is that when you are ready for the addition you may want to just tear it all down and lay a slab foundation to put up a square cottage. I could price out what it would cost in material for you. You'll find it's not much for a place like you want and it'll be laid out how you want it.

After you took off I was getting ready to start then ended up bending the drip edge down and tapping in the aluminum. *If you want to DOO a workup on it sure if it's not too much trou ble, do you need to know the square footage? *I won't be able to get back up until September sometime. *I have a wedding this weekend, my daughters b-day party the next weekend, and a Tiger game the last weekend. *My dad is up there right now putting up the new antenna. *There is some advantage on being a 1/3 owner. ha ha.

In regards to your last post, it is possible to get hit with your own machine. *Back in 88 I was jetskiing off of South Padre Island and got brave, decided to try and stand up. *I wiped out and woke up on the beach with a guy on my back pumping water out of my lungs. *They tell me that when I wiped out I smacked my head off of the back part of the jetski.

I'll Doo a work up from basics. You'll be suprised how inexpensive a small cabin can be to build. Especially with friends help. I'll do it later Rob. You have a great place to build one.I'm thinking under $10 k should do it.Simple but nice. doing the work saves so much money and it's easy to do straight walled plaves like this. Two or three people is all that would be needed for two or three days and it would be closed up. I have friends that work for Insulspan In Blissfield. I'm going to check out to see what a system from them would be.

Caleb, Is that all they use for walls are those panels? *Do they use the same stuff for interior walls? *Do you have to do your own trusses?

Sled Dogg
08-05-2002, 05:56 PM
Go to there site. They have different types of panels but they come complete , ready to stand up. They are a site to watch be made. I almost got a job there years ago. They are from my hometown.
