I'm installing a new track in my 99 ZR 600. Do I need to loosen the set screw and release the bearing stop that's on the clutch side of the sled? I was just wondering if it's ok where it is since I didn't move it or if it needs to be loosened to allow for the bearing to move on the shaft when I tighten up the flange plates and the lower chaincase gear nut. I cannot get the set screw to budge and it's almost stripped out. Normally I'd undo the set screw, loosen the stop, tighten the flange plate and torque down the chaincase gear. Then rotate the stop in the direction of rotation until tight and against the bearing and screw in the set screw. Just want to know if it's ok if I don't adjust the bearing stop.
Thanks,
Jeff
