WHAT KINDA MODS HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR 200X I BOUGHT MINE COUPLE WEEKS AGO FOR $490 NEW MUD TIRES AND MINT CONDITION (BESIDES THE WOBBLEY AXLE) I FIND IT SLOW AS ? GOT ANY IDEAS HOW TO MAKE THIS BEAST FASTER I HAD *A TRI-MOTO 175 THAT WENT ABOUT 60 AND THAT WAS GOOD BUT THIS FEELS LIKE IT NEEDS A 6thGEAR WHEN I'M TOPPED OUT IN 5th

My bike is a 1985 200x, and it went Ok stock, but I wanted more. Last year I installed a full DG pipe with adjustable backpressure (via discs), a K&N air filter, jetted up to 112 MJ from 108 stock. I also installed two Kenda Dirt Dog tires in the rear. These changes worked very well and biked climbed hills in sandpit very well in second gear with twelve discs in pipe. This year, I installed a Wiseco 12:1 piston from the stock 9:1, ported and polished exhaust port, jetted to 115MJ, and geared up one tooth from 12 to 13 on front sprocket and bought new o-ring chain. Bike needs 102 octane min. ( I use airplane fuel 100LL and add a little octane boost), definitely has more torque and power than last summer, but I now need a new clutch pack (ordering Barnett Kevlar and high tension springs), as my stock clutch is slipping alot. This weekend I did some fun drag races on a gravel road against my buddies 2002 Kawasaki kvf 650 twin atv and he beats me but doesn't blow me away, I was impressed with my bike.

And here's one of the differences in pistons. Left one is Wiseco which is 12grams lighter than stock and 12:1 ratio, right one is stock 9:1 ratio.

SOUNDS LIKE SOME NICE MODS BUT ACTUALLY TONIGHT MY TRANNY GOT STUCK IN 5th GEAR AND I COULDN'T CHANGE GEARS ITS FINNALY GAVE BUT I OPENED IT UP AND THE LIL ROUND WHEEL NEXT TO THE CLUTCH PACK BROKE IN TONS OF PIECES LEAVING TONS OF METEL SHAVING AND LOTS OF JUNK IN THE PAN GUESS I'LL FIX IT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS HAVE NO IDEA WHY THIS HAPPENED AND LIMSKII HOW LOUD IS THAT DG PIPE OF YOURS I GOT THE STOCK HONDA ONE IT HAS A NICE GROWL WHEN YOU REV IT UP BUT I'M LOOKING FOR AN ALL TIME LOUDNESS
