Honestly, How the hell do you take the battery out without taking the coolant tanke out. It's right under it. Arctic Cat designed it pretty badly. Worked on it for an hour and couldn't get it out. Any advice??

Ok I wondered the same thing on my 600 it is kind of a pain in the butt. Check out this link Sabercat Battery (http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/Parts/SNOWMOBILE/2004/2004Sabercat700EFI/BATTERYSOLENOIDANDCABLES(LXEXTInternational).htm) and look at par#11 it is a little piece of aluminum and it flexes. You must pull up on this end of the battery and slowly angle it out. It pulls sort of hard at first but you will get the hang of it fairly quick. I have had to pull mine out twice now. If you need some more help let me know.

Oh by the way I had to use a wrench to disconnect the battery cable under the coolant tank because the cable is not long enough to come with the battery.

I noticed that mine worked better on the reinstall with the pos. terminal towards the rear. Unlike that picture my overflow is toward the front.
