2002 Pantera 600 EFI with 6000 miles. I am getting a vibration predominately on the left side and it is worse the faster you go. I installed a new belt but it did not cure the problem. Also installed a cam arm kit in the clutch last year. Any suggestions?

I wonder if maybe one (or more) ofyour cam arms are binding causing everything to be out of balance, in turn causing the vibration. Does it do it only under load situations or do you get the same vibration when the sled is up in the air? Try putting it on a track stand and see if it still vibrates. This will make it easier to diagnose exactly where the vibes are coming from.--Bleedin'

I'll bet it's either a driveshaft bearing, jackshaft bearing, or maybe both.

Hmm, I reread your post. Is it vibrating this bad at idle when the sled is stationary?

Not vibrating toomuch at idle. I gets noticeable at 20mph and worse the faster you go.....

Grab your secondary clutch and see if you can wiggle it up and down. If so it is the bearing on the shaft. This is a typical problem it's the first thing I check when purchasing a used sled.

Just to add to what Islandlake said, even the slightest........SLIGHTEST bit of movement will be the jackshaftbearing. If you want to make sure it isn't your secondary clutch moving, just remove secondary and grab onto the jackshaft and try and move it up and down. There should be NO movement, it should be solid.
