. . . squirrely at the rear end. I took the sled out of hibernation and had it on the lake where there was 12 inches of powder on the lake and had been ridden on so it was fluffy white stuff. My front shocks were dialed at between 1/2 and 3/4 up and my rear skid shock is dialed all the way up, it was adjusted too high and I can't get it to dial down while I dialed the front rear shock all the way down to see how it did. When I rode it it was very squirrely at the rear end, the rear was wagging from side to side, I wonder if this is because of the snow or because I lowered the front rear shock all the way down. My carbides are brand new up front and the front didn't really waggle as much as the front, would the front rear shock dialed all the way down do this?

If I'm understanding your question properly, the answer is yes, you should be adding some tension to the spring on the front skid shock.

That setting is all about compromise. It controls the sensitivity of the steering. Loose spring=more sensitive. Just remember, a little sensitivity is good when it come time to enter a corner....

The back end feels loose - but actually, it's just following where you are telling the front end to go...
