I wanted to replace the seat on my 99 zrt 800 le(green) *with a 13 gallon of *00 or a 12 off 01 *has anyone doe this or have any expierience. * *thanks.

Yep I did it with my 99 Tcat with a 00 Tcat seat/tank with no problems at all.

I would go with the 12 instead of the 13 unless you really need the extra gas. *I have a 00zr500 with the 13 gallon tank and its kinda wide and rubs your knees. *It can get old on a long ride. *I'm thinking of putting a tank pad on this year and see if that helps.

You're right ZR500, it would get very old very quick.

I put on a 13 gal. last year on my 99 Zrt800, the only problwm was the metal brackets at the the front(right below the bars) was a little narrow. *But they will fit, just heat the metal up a bit a lightly tap them with a dead blow hammer. *Just be careful you don't bend them to far, and don't put your tank in when the brackets are hot *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

People do complain that the tank is to wide and high, but if you ride like me it won't bother you. *I sit at the back and stay like your riding your couch.
