I couldn't believe it, lined up with an 04 xc 6 last night and i actually kept up.......... for the first 20 feet, hahaha :bash: . I do have like 120 pounds on the guy, and a 1.25 track, but i couldn't believe it, i actually kept up / had him by a ski length, then he blew my doors off, by probably 6 sled lengths in about 200/225 yards. That sled is awesome for being only a 600. :hallo1:

I know what you are talking about.

Darn 600 twins eat up my 98 XLT real bad. Not even close. I'm even afraid to line up with a 500. It wouldn't be pretty.

Buddies 03 600 ho renegade pulls me by 20 ft in a hundred and just keeps going. He is passing 95 when I'm creeping on 80mph.

But my old tank sure is smooth and rides / handles very well. I drop back on the straights but catch up again quick in the twisties.

One day I may transplant something wicked under the hood just for fun. A local fella has a dynoed 150 hp custom built 600 XLT monoblock for sale. Sled was so nasty he couldn't ride it on the trails. Ski's were always flapping in the air. The power band was just too violent. Not much could touch it on the straights he says but in the twisties it was a handful. Wouldn't that teach the twin boys a lesson about tripple potential.
