i have a 01 adrenaline 800 and was wondering if an exhaust off an 03 renegade 800 would fit. he is gonna ship it tomorrow so some help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I checked the two micro fiches on the two models. Although they do not have the same or similar family part numbers, they're lay out and mounting hardware is identical. Are you just replacing damaged good or looking for more performance. The major difference I see is the '03s available replacable envelopes which were N/A in '01. Hope this helps some.

no i am not looking for more performance. i bought the sled used and it had a cobbed up exhaust on it. no heatshields the wrong can that didnt bolt up right and so on. it actually melted my radiator hose and oil resavoir

The envelopes are the aluminum covers on the tuned pipe (expansion chamber) which keep the noise down and aid in retaining heat in the pipe. Hot exhaust gases travel faster. Ouch ! that oil tank is $55.00 .

so the pipe should work fine? it should just have different heat shields if i am reading you right correct?

The tuned pipe and muffler look to be very similar. Better than what you have now !
