I read a thread awhile back, a guy could not get his supension to stay in the middle of coupling blocks(as per ski doo manual). He said that it collapsed all the way to rear coupler regardless of spring setting. I have the same problem,I am on 2nd setting, and I am 190 lbs. Was this situation ever resolved? My dealer said the same thing to me(very reputable dealer) "just ride it". Any help would be appreciated. :lmao:

I'm around a buck 80 and mine sits in between. I had to adjust to get it there but it is there.

wecker20,what setting did you need to put torsion spring on to get it to stay in the middle with you on sled, and did it still ride ok?

is the ground perfectly level and smooth when you're experiencing this?

I don't know, I'll look at it when I get home. I changed almost every shock setting front and back when I got it to handle the moguls. I followed the manual for both sleds to get it to stay in the middle. All I remember is mine is stiffer than hers. :)

I found out last night that DOO and my dealer are right, regardless of the fact that the suspension sits where its at when not moving, the sled is handling like a dream. Finally worked her through some good moguls and assorted rough stuff last night, she ate up the bumps with ease. Im gonna leave it right where I have it (2nd position) unless I gain a bunch of weight(possible).

Oh crap. I forgot to look at it and tell you. Been busy, that's a good thing. Was this the first real ride on your new Rev?

IF you have the 121" based MXZ..then chances are it will sit somewhere around the middle. But if you have the renegade like me, then forget it. Now, while you are riding, that is a different story. The dynamics of the suspension are totally different once you get up and going. I wouldn't worry about the manual too much. Those settings are just a guide and starting point. I am about 225 plus another 30lbs for gear. I have mine set to three on the rear springs, the front skid shock is back off quite a bit and the front ski shocks are set to three as well. My machine handles better then a dream. FYI, I just upgraded to the heavier springs for the back. I will now ride those at 2 but I have extra capacity should a friend jump on the back for a boot.

No it wasn't my first ride on the Rev,but it was the first chance I had to ride it in some good rough stuff.I've managed to log about 200 miles ongroomed trails and fields before last night. We finally got some good snow on top of frozen ground so I put 100+ miles on local trails and state park trails that are close to my house that are not rideable untilgrond gets hard.I LOVE THIS SLED :inlove:
