Hello all , I was out for a drive on my better half's sled this morning , he knows what I'm like so he gave me the lecture no jumps and no deep snow ...... my two favorate things. So what do you think I'm gonna do especially on a beautiful sledding day ? So any way I'm repetedly hitting a nice jump out of his site , and one jump I was not holding on to tight I hit it and I went flying the machin almost drove into the cottage strait ahead , I laughed my but off as I ran to fetch the sled hopped on and headed strait for the lane I drove up the doing 140 k's as I see my man standing on the deck shaking his fists at me......lol then at the end of the lane where the plow dumps all the snow I tried to climb , and I did but when I got to hte other side it was all powder and I burried it now he is mad ! My machine is gone to town today to be fixed yeah ! :p

Glad to hear your alright after your incounters. I'm talking about the ones with the sled owner..lol...Go big or go home...He should know that one by now... Good jumping, but you should start a little easier with the tricks.. Try a no handed landing first , not a whole no body one to start with..lol :D

how old are you????

I remember one day last year I was sledding up on Back Lake with my friend (with the '97 MXZ 440) and there was this pretty big jump. It was about 10 ft. high, and he was trash talkin my sled (the '01 Form DLX) about how slow it is, etc. So I said lets go on the jump. I went first and got some nice air, good landing, all was well. Then he went, and did a little baby jump, it was pretty pathetic. I went again and got another really good jump. So my friend tries to show me up (i guess???) and hits it pretty big. He almost falls off, but (heres the good part), his dad comes around the cove and sees what he is doin so he nails the breaks right before the landing. He digs in the front end and falls off the front side. His dad rushed over with me and were like "are you ok?" hes fine. His dad was soo mad he didnt help dig out the sled for him; he had to do it himself....

You can bet there was no more dissin my sled.......every time he brings up how slow a 380 is, I say a sled is only as good as the rider that jumps it.....

SWEET,
Your better half must understand that you have to have fun.

Way to go, keep practicing the jumps.
Just remember it's always a good jump until you brake a bone.
