Need some help removing my primary clutch on a 2003 F7. I've never worked on my clutch, anytime I had a problem took it to the local expert. Figured its time to learn how to do it myself. Bought a puller but it looks like Ineed a special socket to remove the bolt inside. Do I ? and if so what is it called (don't want to look like a retard when I buy it) If not what can i use without stripping the head of the bolt. Thanks

Just use a 12 point socket. Not your normal 6 point.
Unless something is different from my ZR. But most are just a star type head. Not the best wording. Hopefully you know what I'm talking about.

You will also need a pair of visegrips. Like the ones welders use. You will have to squeeze the clutch together a 1/2" or more to give you enough room to get it out from the crank shaft and bellypan. It is tight. The only way I can get it off.

Yeah, its a fight. I usually wear gloves, and squeeze the clutch and bend the belly pan a little.
