Ran the lakes yesterday and after a few wide open throttle runs (about 30 seconds each) as I let off the throttle the sled shut down. This happened three times. The sled started back up on a few pulls then burped/sputtered a little then settled down to idle fine. Later in the day I did some more WOT runs with no problems. The sled ran great all day except for the issues mentioned earlier in the day. Carbs are spotless, plugs have been changed. My thought is that she got a shot of water.....any input would be appreciated.

sounds to me that it starving for fuel. id start by cleaning the carbs and then check you fuel pump to see if putting out enough for your high speeds.

mlabudda,
Thanks for the input. That is exactly what I was thinking. I was busting trail in about 24" of powder (AWESOME!!!!!!!) one time, and behind other sleds (snow dust the others) I ruled out a temp seize because I rode at least 80 miles after the last stall. I hope I'm right. Thanks!

id say check fuel pump and fuel lines also. my buddy had this problem with his FZ. he found a collapsed fuel line. it only gave him problem ad high speed.

dbenney,
I looked it over out on the trail. I didn't find any collapsed lines. Thanks for the input. I can tell you this is how I burnt my $200 jacket! :bash: :bash: :cussing:
