I have a 1998 Polaris XCF 440. I havent found anything on here from someone talking about them. Were they built in limited quantities???? Any info...

I am pretty sure that polaris used them as fan cooled racers for a while. They are pretty comon, at least I have seen a ton of em. Not really that desired as they aren't very fast, and mods don't really exist for em. Nice lightweight sled to pound on though. I like it nice sled :thumbsup:

Yep, nice machine for tight, rough trails. If you haven't already got them, put on a set of plastic skis.
You'd be suprised at how easy it is to look like you're a pro on a fan cooled machine. THey're so easy to ride fast that in the right conditions you can make someone on a heavy liquid work his rear off to stay with you.

The majority of the talk is with the liquid sleds for sure, harder to get info on anything of the fan variety.

Would anyone know what the top speed is??
