My dad bought an '01 Super Sport. It's a beautiful sled, but we have a hard time getting it started. It'll start, but we have to pull on it many times. On all the other sleds we've owned, we go full choke, pull a few times and they fire. Once they do, we put to half choke, then no choke.

Is there something different about this sled? Should we be trying something different?

It's a 550 fan I assume? Don't have a cure for you but can tell you my wifes 03 is not much better, luckily it's electric start. Only a cold start problem though, once it's going and you shut down for a short period no problem to restart. Been like that since new.

Yeah, 550 fan. It's harder to pull over than other sleds, too. Once going, just like yours, it will start up easy.

Maybe I'll try to find an electric start kit for him. My elbow and shoulder are worn out after starting him up!
