Hey I need some help... i changed my headlight on my Polaris XLT Special when it burned out the speedometer and the lights on the speddometer went out and the new light i put in is very dim, very dim. Help Me Im stuck

could it maybe be ur voltage regualtor or maybe a sort in some wires?

the lights work now we slapped the top of the speedometer with my fist and they r on now, but they r very dim. and when i slapped the tail light it goes off on one slap and, back on if i slap it again.. trying to trouble shoot. Im not much on a mechanic tho, snowmobile wise
