Hi all I just got back from my first weekend on my 1st sled. All I can say is wow what a blast. I was on Lake Simcoe for 5 hours tearing it up. My brother in law was cool and never blasted to far ahead of me and he stopped at every pressure crack so I knew where they were. I cant believe how much get up and go that 800 with a studded track has it goes like hell. After a few hours of practicing turns and learning how to handle bumps I started to feel more confident and wanted to open her up. Lets just say its a different felling doing 130kph on a sled than in a car. I know 130kph is not that fast for that sled but thats as fast as I felt I could handle should I hit a bump. I learned allot that day including to respect the power my sled has I can see why so many people get hurt or die. Self control is the number one rule to staying safe.
