2002 ProX 440 Fan, Bogging when fully warmed up or if its warm outside temp 20-35. Runs great at 6,000-8,500 rpm's warm or cold. Lowered needle and mj 290 & 300, plugs still look a little dark. Sometimes when stopping to cross roads it won't even go, if your not over 5,500 rpm's it won't go up hills. Can't stop on hills at all or it will just bog. Running Polaris Gold oil, should I jet it leaner?

The fans seem to be more critical for jetting, I had a 340 that would not get out of it's own way when warm. I dropped two sizes when warm and it runs fine. Just keep an eye on the plugs and piston wash.

yeah thats what is doing it is your jetting.mine ran great all winter at -20 or below but towards end of season when it got warmer outside it was doin the same as yours.jet it when it is cold for you area so the plugs look cardboard brown.there are books to tell you the cporrect jets for temperatur and elevation.but all i do is jet for the usual temp in winter here -20 or below and if it gets warmer check plugs for colour and jet to correct . hope this helps

Just had basically the same complaints on another thread with a 340 fan. Polaris must be jetting these really fat!

Fat jetting reduces warranty claims ;)
