: Tim Horton's
revrnd 01-30-2005, 11:27 PM The Noone's Restaurant on the 35/115 combination has been replaced by a Timmy's. I've sledded to the locations in Hearst & Cochrane (the founder's birthplace). Probably pop out to the new 1 this week for a snack after work this week.
On TV right now there is an ad where 2 guys try to hit everyone from the east coast to the west.
Taking this to the next level what other locations can you ride a sled to? Also, what's the policy for snowmobiles in the drive thru?

OntRider 01-30-2005, 11:34 PM (All listed are in Ontario)
Midland
Dowling (I think... gotta check my map but it's in the sled right now)
Chelmsford
Orillia (the one by the Home Depot) (sort of off-trail but accessible)
We hit all of those last year.
trailblazer 01-30-2005, 11:41 PM The Westbound 401 Service Centre just west of Woodstock is our new fuel stop close to home. The Westwood Hills Snowmobile Club has run a trail into it.
They have Timmy's, his sister, Wendy's, Nicholson's, (a distant cousin) and I'm pretty sure a Subway.

NewfieBullet 01-31-2005, 12:02 AM The Timmy's in Garson is practically on the trail.
There's also a Tim's on Lakeshore in North Bay that's easily accessible on sled.
The best one anywhere though is the Tim's at Marble Mountain in Newfoundland. Not that's there's anything special about the TIm's, just that the location is spectacular. Other newfoundland locations are Deer Lake and Gander.
FreezerBurnt 01-31-2005, 02:59 AM Sudbury area Tim Hortons that are on the OFSC Trails
Chelmsford  can't miss it and gas station next door
Azilda  can't miss it
Garson :undercover:

I am not sure on Dowling though  ,I know how to get there on back trails but have not been to that Timmy's in past 3yrs
DOO THE DOO 01-31-2005, 07:30 AM I think you can easily get to the one in Kapuskasing ontario..never sledded to it but me and my dad have stopped in the Transport and there was sled's across the road where we parked.
ZR Rider 01-31-2005, 07:34 AM Let me add Minden and Uxbridge!
Uxbridge the trail comes right out at Swiss Chalet as well.
I guess Port Perry as well... but parking is away from the store!
Rottie 01-31-2005, 07:44 AM New Liskeard you can ride to both.
Kirkland lake you can ride to the west end Tim's but not sure of the east end.
South Porcupine (Timmins) is sled handy as well.
TrailorParkBoy 01-31-2005, 08:31 AM Been to the Tim's in Listowel through the back street.
Elmira Tim's has trail to the parking lot.
Elora Tim's, trail to front doors this year. Gas next door.
rvanderklok 01-31-2005, 09:17 AM Elliot Lake Ontario Tim Horton's is about 100 feet from the trail. But you can ride your sled to it as the back of the property runs up to the bush. There's a well ridden path there.

Drive thru for Wendy's and Tim H great access for a late night snack.
I have used the Drive thru on the sled when no other traffic is around.
Just turn the machine so that they can hear you.
golfleft 01-31-2005, 03:36 PM The one in Yellowknife NT is a great place to stop after a day of riding. One of the things I missed after I left. And Canadian Tire!!!
Hey! This topic is no fair! The closest one to me is near the border in Michigan . :(
skidoo175 02-01-2005, 09:35 AM Port Elgin, Ontario. Right beside the Shell station so when after you fill her up you can go for a coffee yourself.
