A friend of mine has a 00 700 xcsp that he just recently rebuilt and ported with race logics templates. We cant get the sled to lose the low to midrange bog. HIs current mods are trail porting, psi twin pipes, psi air box mod, and psi reeds. We played with jetting all day today. It has kehlin carbs on the machine. We tried different needle positions and pilot jets. It seemed to clean up a bit when we leaned the needles way down. He is running 205, 210 mains. The plugs looked nice and brown when checking them at WOT. He has 38 pilots, tried 35. When we pull the carbs off the reeds are soaked they have puddles of fuel. The carbs have been cleaned. If anyone can help we would greatly apprieate it.
The sled loads up for about 2 to 3 seconds when pinning it from a stop then cleans up nicely. sorry for the novel.

Too advanced for me but it sounds like it will be a fun machine once it's all working properly.
Someone should come along soon with some good advice.
This is not related but has he done anything with the CDI? I heard there was a swap you could do that really wakes that sled up when done with similar mods.

No hes still running the orignal cdi. Think we found the prob. Head was leaking coolant on the out side of cylinder. i figure its probably leaking into the motor also. He has a couple sleds so hes lost motivation
with the project so it hasn't been fixed yet. :bash: :cussing:
