Hey Guys,
Im new here so hello. I recently bought a 76 everest 440 air cooled for parts for my 444 L/C project. The sled was sittin outside for God knows how long and it show. Still, if you need a part maybe I'll have it. I'd hate to trow out a good part. So far the hood skis and track are gone. The motor seesm locked up but has a dual carb setup on it. Let me know if you need anything.
Thanks,
B
PS How many 444 L/C's we got out out there? :D
Oh, try me at brivinci@hotmail.com if I dont get back to ya right away

Yup. You should see this thing. It looks like some one ran over it with truck. A complete beater but it runs like hell. The motor just sings. It will be looking a lot more respectable when Im finished fixin it up.

Thats what mine looked like at the beginng of the year. I put a new hood on it, new seat, suspension, cut the windsheild down 2 8inches and put $900 into the motor

Sweet got any pics. The hood is totally beat so Im putting on the hood from the '76 440. It's black but it doesnt have any cracks. The seat on mine was recovered by the last owner but isnt stock looking at all. It will do though. Im taking the track off the 440 too. Its way better and is studded. Gonna try to get it together tomorrow. Cant wait to ride.

They sure do. Mine was studded but they all fell out before I got it.(got mine from a friend) I'm putting the track from the 440 on it which has those box studs installed. it should back a world of difference seeing how bad the one that is on it is. I just pulled the 444 into the garage to begin stripping it down. The only thing left on the 440 is a rusted belly and the tunnel. I stripped everything off. Have to get the 444 back together before all our snow melts.
