I just bought a 96 mach z and I am bottoming out. I am about 300 lbs and have no problem lifting the skis I am told it is a c10 suspension. Skis are at max setting, front shock is at max setting. The straps are tight with no weight on it. I can't find a adj for the rear shock. The rear springs are set on the max as well. I am finding that it darts on the trail. When I am riding in fresh powder and let off the gas I go into like a speed wobble, quite scary. An suggestions on a way to fix either problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You need a set of heavier springs for your weight. The standard springs won't handle a 300 pounder, especially if they're old and have lost some strength. Heavier springs will raise your rear ride height and will transfer some weight forward which should help some with the darting, as well as cure the bottoming. Wouldn't be surprised if your rear shock is worn out, also. From there, you should be able to adjust it to ride and handle better than it does now.
Maybe a set of EZ steers on the skis, or Woody's doolies wear bars would also help cure the darting.

Thanks Craze1cars. I went to a Skidoo dealer yesterday and asked them about the new springs. They are 50$ each. Going to check on Ebay to see if I can get a better deal.
I just put on some new runners last week so I am going to look into the ez steers. I also adj down my springs on the skis the dealer told me this would help.
Don't know when I'll get out again it has been warm and rain all day, no snow left to ride on.
Thanks again.
