Any one know how much you would increse your pin weight when going to mag arm's? Are the mag arms worth the cost and effort to set-up?
Thanks

Here's something that I pulled from another site.
PM me if you want more info.

"add 6-8 grams to start and you might have to go softer on the spring also.

the mag arm weighs 27 gram and the stock arm weighs 39 so if you just add the arms and not change the weight you will have major belt slippage due to too light of a set up- mag arms and 16-22 grams is std. (depending on engine of course) example- ported 800 doo stock pipe w/res.- 100/170 spring,24 gram pins,300 ramp and a 44 black ice cam(same as a 48 doo) at 18 lbs- engine pulls 8100 on clicker 4 and with a 136/1.25 track is good for 110+ mph.

Ty arms are about 24 grams."

What sled are they going into. *Are you running the stock setup? * Usually you have to go to the next lighter spring and run about 18-19grams pin weight
