Anykind of paint will stick, as long as you are painting the inside. *I did mine a few years back and still like the day I did it.

What kind of access do you have? Are you in a small town? We use to print the shields for one of the aftermarket companies and if you have a screen printing supply company in your city you can get an INK for PETG or polycarbonate along with the compatable thinner for it to spray. This will bite into the shield and you won't have to worry about it chipping when it gets cold and flexed.

You can go to any hobby shop that sells R/C Cars and buy paint called Pactra. It is made for R/C Lexan bodies that are painted on the inside. This pactra paint has allot of flex agent in it so these little cars can crash and stuff without the paint falling off. This will be most escellent for a winshield.
