Trails were 99% well groomed and relatively empty.
There were 12 of us, and we based out of the Lake St Peter area, rode to Whitney, Madawaska, Barry's Bay, Haliburton, Bancroft, and Paudash Lake. Temps ranged from -26 C in the first part of the week to + 8 C by yesterday. Needless to say unless the temp drops and we get some more snow the trails are not going to hold up, in fact yesterday with the weekend crowd the trails were showing signs of deteriorization.
We put on approx 1200 miles in total and would recommend this area to anyone.
