Right now I have the chance to buy a 98 XCR 700 w/ 3000 miles, a 96 Trail 500 with 5000 miles, and a 3 place trailer for $2500. I'll most likely sell the Trail 500 for about $1000 and keep the XCR for myself. $1500 for a 98 XCR is a smokin deal in my book, but I don't know a lot about these sleds, besides that it through my buddies dad, an experienced rider, on his ### when he pinned it. I likey. Was there any reason to avoid this year/model? Its stock, and well taken care of. Anything in particular to check out before I buy?

if its a polaris u dont need to worry i have the exact same modle a miles on it. its great sled and i would go ahead and buy the should be askin 3400 for it but 1500 buy asap.

Hey, I bought a 1998 XCR 700 this year with 4800 miles on it for 2500$. 1500$ for that sled is a steal. I would go for it even if there was some problems with it and nothing major. I have had it for2 months now and its been running great for me, i just blew the track off it though but the owner pointed the track was bad out to me before i bought it.
