Hey guys,
I enjoy seeing everybody's photos posted in this forum, so here are a couple we took on Saturday morning in the Sierra Nevada mountains between Lake Tahoe and Truckee, about 9K feet at Tinker's Knob.
California mountains get immense amounts of snow. There's currently a 6-12' base in this region so all obstacles are covered. The giant, deep creek beds are merely half-pipes and the steep descents seem to have easy runouts. And the weather is warm here. It was about 50F this afternoon.
But believe me, the mountains don't provide much "open throttle" activity compared to those midwest lakes!
