I have a 1996 ultra sp I would like to long track it. It is the wedge style And I also have a 1998 500 rmk 136 GenII my question is can I take the suspension out of the 500 and put it in the ultra then do the same from the ultar to the 500 the reason for this is I have just put a new 121 track on the ultra so cost wise it would work out great. And I would like a little more track on my ultra As I am I big guy and I like the long track versus the short track also the power is alot better than my 500 of course any info would be appreciated thanks in advance SWRules

I'm not sure what you are asking, but if it's a question of wether or not the mounting holes are the same for both suspensions, the answer is no. The 136" locates the rear arm a couple inches to the rear.

I know the mounting holes are different I think they are different by about 2-3inches.I'll have to measure it do be exzact I was just wondering if anybody had any experience in trying to do something like that. And how bad of a job it was I guess it woulld be a matter of measuring then drilling and reinforcing. And having a alot of parts to take off and swap.

You can pretty much mix and match rear suspensions, engines, clutches and all sorts of stuff between different sleds. It is just a matter of how careful you are and how good your fabricating skills are.
The only thing I've seen problems with is front suspensions. Unless you are a good TIG welder and understand the geometry, it is hard to swap most front suspensions between sleds.
