: My Friend Just Told Me I`m Slow

i never paid any attention but my friend say`s i`m slow when the trails are smooth but when the trails get bumpy i pick it up . does anyone else ride like this or am i the only crazy one out there ? i really never paid attention before but looking back i guess he`s right. i dont ride a good bump sled... 600 pound triple. so why ?

I ride slow on flat, twisty groomed trails and pick it up on the bumps. I'm on a sled that does very well on them though. When I had my triple, I still rode harder than most but not like I doo now. Doubleing moguls is fun. Tripleing them hurts.

It's nice to hit a trail that's smooth .ahhhhhhhh, but we always find that one that's mogul city.. I find going faster across the bumps allows my sled to skip the tops.. therefore I'm not feeling the bumps as hard.. Your timing better be good however cause one of those can sneak up on you and bump you off like a bucking bronco.. Been there done that.. ouch just call me superman flying through the air.. :lmao:

I could agree, the higher speeds do seem to smooth it out a little, but then again i probably just start riding faster to get it over with :lol:

Me too--speed up to smooth the bumps. Moguls suck at 30-40mph. 65-70 smooths them out real nice.
