I am trying to remove a drive belt from my 89 safari escapade. I have the manual and it is not a bit of help. I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced a belt on one of the following:

89 -year for all

Safari Citation, Scout/E, Saga, Voyager, Escapade
or a Tundra, Tundra LT

I have the driven pulley support removed. Cant seem to get enough slack to get the belt over the driven pulley.

Just seperate the secondary clutch plates ( Compress the spring couple turns ) then it should slide right over or just sit the belt up on the secondary and rotate the secondary clutch backwords..should come off either way or thats the way I always change em.
