Cromwell,minnasota * I won a sled off ebay there and I have to go pick it up in the next few weeks. i thought I'd make a weekend trip of it and maybe meet of with some of you fellow sled heads. I'll post my general directions as i'm comeing from Ann Arbor Mi. I'm going to put a hitch on my buick and find a small 4x8 trailer as they are light and easy on gas. My car gets 30 on the highway so I should do well with a light trailer and a motor less chassis.

I'm about an hour and a half from there, but I"m familiar with the area. *I imagine you'll be passing thru Duluth/Superior, and taking 210 west off I-35 to get to Cromwell. *On I-35 you may see signs for Centerfold's Cabaret in Scanlon. *Don't bother going. *Don't bother going anywhere in Duluth, either. *If you want to drink or see naked chicks, stop in Superior. *Just about any place there is good, and there's lots to choose from.

On a summer trip either in '92 or '97 when I was in Duluth/Superior the bars/liquor stores closed @ 8 in Duluth (?) *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif I was talking to a girl at a liquor store near the Superior Best Western the next day & she said the liquor laws were really messed up in MN. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

In Duluth, the bars are open until 1. *That's Minnesota law. *However, the liquor stores are open until 8 Mon-Thurs and until 10 on Friday and Saturday. *Closed on Sunday. *Crappiest thing about Duluth is that you can't smoke indoors anywhere anymore. *I don't smoke, but I used to, so I can relate to how much this would suck.
Bars are open until 2 in Superior.

live 3.5 hrs from duluth was just over there on the 4th of july. * we crossed the bridge at 12.00 and drank until 4.00 in superior. * nice place.
