I was thinking of getting a prox 440 fan, i was wondering how fast they are? how good are the shocks and how light is it? also hoe god is the gas milage and are they reliable?

its only a 400 which if u havent figured it out are not a big displasment they top out at around 80 if your lucky. if i were you i would go for the polaris prox2 800 which is around the same price good on gas and a much more agressive driving style. and ps they haul. i would not get the fan either. the liquid cooled are much better for performance. plus the liquids are much more reliable.

The Pro-X fan is an awesome little sled. Amazingly quick for it's size, with lots of top end as well. The fastest fan ever most likely, certainly faster and quicker then the 550/570's.
The chassis is all about durability. It is seriously built to take a pounding and like it. Compare it side by side with another Edge, especially an SKS/RMK and you can see that the Pro-X is built to take abuse.

Now for the negatives. It is hard on gas and it is tempermental. It's quick and fast yes, but the jetting has to be SPOT ON for the weather. If it's off the sled will be a dog. It doens't like to be ridden slowly, or like an old man. It wants and needs to be ridden hard.

If you're the type of person who loves fiddeling with your toys, who loves to pound a sled through the rough stuff, and loves to show up guys on bigger liquids, go for it.

If you want a sled that you put gas in a ride, if you're a poser who wants to look like a racer but goes for a ride to enjoy the scenery, shop elsewhere. This sled is not for you.

like newfie said it was built to be beaten but man can it take it . we have 2001 xcf that will do 90 topped out on radar . it was very hard to keep running right till we changed jetting to that of 2003 . that was a very good 440 fan and faster than our 2001 . if you play in the woods alot you will love it and your friends will bigger liquids will hate you , it's fun

i got one and i think its a great sled.. im 14 and its a perfect size for me.. it doesnt bother me that it is fan cooled because i dont really ride in warm temperatures.. really light and can jump over the mogules pretty good... never had a problem starting it and suspension is great!!

Can you give me the 2003 cardburators complete settings for the xcf

I have bought a xcf and only at the end of this season that I started to play with the adjustments to make it run, way to rich!

I run hard on well groomed trails (but security in mind) Thank you!
