Looking For Nw Lower Parking Areas

We normally sled from Indian River, and use the parking area there, but since there is no snow to speak of here, I'm hoping to find someplace to park over by Alanson/Petosky/Harbor Springs. I can't find any parking areas on the maps. Anyone know if there are any? They've had some lake effect in that area that I'd like to at least burn a little old gas out of the sleds.. :(

I know that this thread is old. I live in Alanson. There is a parking lot just north of the light @US31 &M68 in Alanson. It is right next to trail#7
