Call dynoport tech support,

1-315-252-2113

They will give you a jetting baseline. Use the baseline with a jet conversion chart to fine tune to your altitude and temperature.

Also,

There is a good article from Dyno port on stage tuning a 99 mxz 600.

here is the link: http://www.dynoport.com/article-mxz1.html

What about clutching? Once you start messing around with the engine there are a lot of factors to consider. This is a good place to get info and learn. You just need to make up your mind if it's worth the hassle [sometimes] enjoyment [other times] either way it's how you learn about your sled and is a lot of fun! GOOD LUCK!

I'm not really sure that you would want your dealer to do
any of the mods or required jetting changes as it would most
likely void your warrenty. hehehe

I'm sure most of us can help steer you in the right
direction. Just remember when changing jets, start big
(rich) then work your way down. And like Mikadoo said, to
get the most out of your money that you spend on the pipe
you'll have to reclutch some.
