need some pointers on strapping down my rear skid for drags. i plan on using cable, so i can take it off to trail ride at times. i don't know where to tie it up, a pic would be nice. what adjustments should i make? is there a optimum measurment for front and back of the sled?
thanks :hallo1:

hi fast, my cats a 2002 t-cat with a zr skid the smart shock skid had to go, as it kept blowing seals and shock bodys :bash: it did ride nice when it worked. i also was at ancor bay last sunday afternoon. i seen a fellow with his cat tied down, and should have asked him how he did it. it was hooking up fairly good with trail studs. maybe someone here can share some insite as to the basics of strapping these down? if i hear something i'll share it with you. happy flying

Here's how I strapped mine down. Although it's from a '96, you can get the basic idea. There is 3" from the front arm to the top of the rail, and 4" from the rear arm to the top of the rail.

thanks harticat. thats just what i was looking for. i see how you have your sissicor adjusted, i can't drop the upper sissicor part down like yours, due to reinforcment plates that are welded on the lower rods. i can move them back on the rails tho. will that help? again thanks for the good advice and quality pictures
