If I was forced to watch golf on TV, as long as Natalie Gulbis was playing, I might be able to handle it * * *

Nix the golf pants; replace with short tennis skirt, then it would be a sport.

We ran across the course in Parry Sound one year. I was near the end of the group because I had a sick cyl. Thought the terrain seemed different. It was dark so I couldn't see far away. We go behind a medium sized sign. I look, "Parry Sound Golf & Country Club" Oops. By the look of the tracks in the snow, we weren't the only oness thru.

I used to hate golf, but that was before I tried it. *Now I play everytime I can get out, it's fun, believe it or not. *All you need is a set of clubs, balls, tees and a whole lot of beer. *The more you drink the funner it is. * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

the more I drink, the better I golf. *to a limit anyway.

I just don't want to be coming around a blind curve at night, with you driving drunk in a golf cart, while your new high intensity light bulbs are blinding me, and I'm already going so fast that I'm outrunning my headlights. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I think FishHog has already had a few. We own a few golf courses and I still don't shoot the greatest. I just love gripping and ripping it. Our course has some awesome hills to jump in the winter when there is enough snow. My brother gets yelled at all of the time for running up and down the 18th that is behind his house. We just say that we are aerating the turf! http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *There is a large mound of dirt I want to grade off perfect to jump a pond we have. Anyone around the Ann Arbor/Saline area get a hold of me and we can golf for free, ytou buy the beer!

I also like golf, I play 2-3 times a week. It's very challenging and a good reason to drink beer *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif * However the golf carts need some Mods, they are to friggin slow!!!

If they're gas power, just lift the seat and find the linkage bar, about 8" long, connected to the carburator. *Give that straight bar a nice bend, and that cart will go when you step on the gas.

I like golf. *It paid my way thru college: http://www.evansscholarsfoundation.com/

Golf is alot more fun if you tinker with the carts and go off roading. Want a chalange? Try finding your golf ball in the bush while still on your golf cart. hehe.. I tried that and got hung up. We got the cart out just before seeing the marshal.

I heard a story about an incident that happened at the Bowmanville Golf course around 20 years ago. A co-worker & his buddies were throwing the pints back pretty good. Somehow, they rolled the cart & the battery acid caught on fire. I guess there wasn't much left of the cart. They bailed without finishing their game.

After that when you rented a cart, you had to leave your car keys at the pro shop http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

Performancex,

The "bar" trick on the golf cart throttle linkage does not work on the newer carts, even though they are governed this way they also have an electronic rev limiter which is set just above the factory settings, when you "turn them up" it actually is slower because the motor cuts out for a couple seconds and then takes off again. I know this because I work as a Golf Course Mechanic. Works great on older carts however.

I golf occasionally as well and enjoy it,the trick is that you can't take it seriously and having a few pints like the others said helps lots *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
