my sled be riding kinda ruff lately...i started to notice it when i took a jump and landed on a huge rock...but i dont think thats what is causing it.
anyways, i just started to driving my sled today scence the bad weather bumed me out. and when get it up to 50 kph it has a fast vibration somewhere, and when i drive slow i feel it..almost feels like the sliders are gone to sh*t but their new...i checked the belt.
anyone think its a bearing?...i dont think its any jackshaft bearing

the first place to start is with the sled lifted at the rear. then get it turning.

i jacked it up and spun the track, and its somthing to do with the track or in that area....kinda sound like the track lugs rubbing on somthing. it's making a grinding noise

you're going to have to spin it slow and try to find just when it rubs. with the track up and the engine off turn the track by hand. you will have to take the drive belt off first though.

well i found out what the problem was....it must of been when i hit that rock...it bent one of my lugs up
but why did it stay bent if its rubber and string....is thier any metal in the track?
the track looks like this - ( -------------^--------- )

There is strips of fibreglass in the track. You must have broke one. I broke one on the edge and the track ripped across there. Jim
