SledHead Radio Ep. 6
First things first. Again, thanks for listening and for all the comments/votes submitted by you! With that said, we have had some individuals out there that cannot believe all the support that this site has been getting and how large our community really is. They think the votes/comments and site traffic are fake. Well, I know we can do even better, so please vote (http://www.podcastalley.com/see_comments.php?pod_id=1086), send comments and leave audio comments (206-337-0340) until the cows come home! Let's show them what we are really made of. I could also mention some facts that we exceeded over 100GB of transfer in the last month alone, but heck, they probably still wouldn't believe me. I will bottom line you here: Please keep the feedback coming in! :) Now on to the good stuff.....
Is there ever such thing as too much performance talk when it comes to sleds? I don't think so. Well, this show is packed with just that. This week, I interview Jim from DynoTech Research (http://www.dynotechresearch.com/). Jim throttles our brains with performance talk and what it involves to dyno test your sled and why it is so important to do so if you really want peak performance. We also discuss Jim's involvement in the Snow Week/DynoTech Shootout (http://www.snowmobilenews.com/output.cfm?id=910333), as well as what the hot items in the snowmobile performance world are.
I also shake the format of this show up a bit. I kinda "tweaked" it, or in sledhead talk, "tuned" the show up a bit. Not only do we talk with Jim, but we welcome our first paid advertiser as well as SledHead Radio's first game/trivia contest. The winner of this contest will get a $25(us) gift from our first sponsor The Outdoor Shop (http://www.theoutdoorshopinc.com). Not only that, but The Outdoor Shop is offering something special on your next order. Wouldn't you like to know? You will have to listen to find out. :) Oh yea, and you now can leave us a message by calling (206) 337-0340. Tell us how mch you like the show, how Kris needs to lay off the steroids, or even how your latest snowmobile mod went. Email comments are always welcome too.
SledHead Radio episode #6 discusses why it is important for you to do a midseason checklist on your snowmobile and what exact items to check. We also chat about other irrelevant topics kinda related to show (does that make sense?) such as where the heck my Slednecks DVD jacket went (did Kris eat it?), one of my "riding" buddies heads west, and why I ran out of bandwidth on my host so quickly. Oh, also, please VOTE!!!!!!

Again, thanks Kris. If you have been a regular listener, then you know that Kris is a big part of the show. He has actually started his own Podcasting business called Palegroove Studios (http://www.palegroove.com) and you can read more about it here (http://www.palegroove.com). Kris's time is VERY valuable and I think it would be a good idea that the listeners of the show tell him how much you apprecaite his time and effort. You can shoot him an email at kris@sledheadradio.com. He also is still also producting his own show Croncast.com (http://www.croncast.com) and you should also go check that out. You get to hear the real Kris and not just "sledhead" Kris. Thanks Kris. :)
Thanks for listening and please help spread the word. :)
